DECEMBER HOLIDAY WEEK 2

For this week, we have introduced a story entitled “The Tiny Seed” to our children. It teaches children about the life cycle of a tiny seed, which sails through the sky, settles into the ground before growing into big flower. Learning about the life cycle of plants allow the children to understand and appreciate our natural world better.

Let us take a look at what the children have been working on for this week.

As inspired by the story, the toddlers have created a painting of the big flower. Besides painting, the children also have the opportunity to create simple flower crafts using a wide variety of materials.

The older children were working on more complex flower crafts, using various techniques such as Origami.

The teachers have also created a lovely standee for the children to do a “Show and Tell” of the story.

On the other hand, the children are anticipating for their Christmas celebrations at school. Hence, they are also working hard on their Christmas crafts, as part of their classroom decorations.
