🌷 Mother's Day Crafts

Mother's Day is a special occasion for us to honor the contribution of mothers, express our love and respect towards them. It is a great opportunity for our children to learn about ways to appreciate and show gratitude toward their mothers. As we discuss about this occasion with the little ones, it allows them to reflect on how special their mothers are and how much they depend on them in their lives. We want our children to express their gratitude towards their mummies. As such, it will allow them to develop communication skills of expressing their emotional feelings to others.

Let us take a look at what the children have been working on.

The toddlers were practising on their card-making skills, which involved the training of their fine motor skills. They were working on their tasks in full attention, as they gripped pieces of coloured papers to decorate their individual card.

They also tried finger-painting on paper plates, as another form of expressing their love for mummies. The littles ones have created beautiful floral paintings with their tiny fingers.

As for the preschoolers, they have decided to make lovely wall decorations for their mummies. They used a wide variety of materials to create their artistic work.

Besides wall decorations, the children have also created stunning pots of paper flowers for this occasion. They were totally engrossed in the process of making these little gifts for their mummies.

Lastly, we would like to wish all the wonderful mothers out there, a "Happy Mother's Day"! Thank you for all the unconditional love ❤️
